Both of these Antique Chinese ornaments are stamped with the MARK #23… There has been discussion whether the stamp is from an Assay Office (they were used in China from about 1889 to 1933) or if it is the stamp of an ‘artistic group’. The bracelet is not solid silver but still has the MARK – it is also similar in style to a number of pieces which have unique design elements like the clasp. I thought it would be fun to shoot them together in Black & White … the camera shows some things that the naked eye can’t see – in this photo they seem to want to be together.
