The Tao of Renewal

It has been said...

Once there was a “Sage-in-Waiting” sitting by the bank of a river drawing circles in the ground. Someone came up from behind and began to observe and then comment.

“What is it that you are doing? It looks interesting.” remarked the observer.

“I am watching the river flow and trying to figure out how the “ancients” learned so much from doing this.”

“And what about the circles?”

“They are a map for finding that knowledge. Lao Tse, the most honorable sage, once wrote that; “a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step”.

"This is my first step. One needs a map for a journey."

“Let me see if I've got this right.” The observer replied. “You are sitting by the bank of a river and drawing circles, which will be a map to find this treasure of knowledge…..it seems to me that you will find nothing going around in circles…this is nothing but a bunch of Bunk!"

“But if you look carefully you can see...” Replied the young Sage-in Waiting, but it was lost on deaf ears...the observer had turned and walked away.

Many circles and steps later, the "Sage-still-in-Waiting" still smiles when he remembers that conversation and when he nicknamed himself… Bunk Tse.

The Well...

The town can be changed, but the well cannot be changed, It neither decreases nor increases. They come and go and draw from the well.

Dignity

Evil can not walk with Dignity...
Dignity has no motive…
Dignity has the purpose of the Correct.
That which is Correct...
Is the manifestation of the Creator.
