CMS Applications

The ZedFilesCD contains DTX plus an additional selection of pre-configured CMS applications which can be accessed through a navigation portal.

This additional selection of sample applications was chosen to give users the opportunity to evaluate and compare different types and styles of CMS programs.
Each application has a number of templates and plug-ins available. Updates are available directly from the developers.

A primary objective of the ZedFiles project is to demonstrate the viability of Open Source web-based content management systems (CMS) applications for sharing and managing information.

Using CMS has the advantage of being able to create or update information without having to create new HTML pages.
