c.1920-1930, This great silver necklace mixes Chinese and Deco motifs…two dragons surround a lovely large green serpentine cabochon. The silver work, carved and chased, includes detail typical of the Chinese silversmiths. Pendant: 5cm x 6cm. Necklace: 41cm. The chain and pendent are hallmarked with a swan…the mark used in France to guarantee silver fineness on object of unknown origin sold at public auction.
